A 10 year old boy signed it away. Britain cut away 40 percent of it. And today India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran all say it belongs to them. The Kohinoor, the "Mountain of Light", is one of the most famous diamonds on earth, and one of the most argued about. In this documentary we follow the stone from the rivers of Golconda to the Mughal Peacock Throne, through Nader Shah's raid on Delhi in 1739, the Afghan kings, Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Lahore, the Treaty of Lahore in 1849 and Queen Victoria's crown jewels in London. Then we look at the curse story and test it against the evidence. Who do you think should own the Kohinoor? Tell us in the comments.
