Classification of Amplifier - (Class A, Class B, Class AB and Class C)

This lecture speaks about the general introduction of Amplifier and its classification on the basis of its use, frequency range, interstage coupling and mode of operation. The classification on the basis of operating point (Q point) or mode of operation has been discussed in detail. Class A, Class B, Class AB and Class C amplifiers are discussed on the basis of output characteristics.
