Las Cruces Road Trip: Neighborhoods, Mountains & More

Join Moments Of Motion for Part 3 of our Las Cruces, New Mexico driving tour, recorded on September 16, 2026. After visiting Dripping Springs Natural Area in Part 2, we begin making our way back toward Las Cruces. Rather than heading straight back, we spend some time sightseeing through some of the beautiful neighborhoods and communities along the way. We cruise through the residential areas, check out the homes and surrounding desert scenery, and get another look at what life around this part of Las Cruces is like. Our drive then takes us past Tortugas Mountain, which makes for an interesting roadside view. From our perspective on the road, the mountain looks like it might be quite the climb! We continue our journey until we arrive back at the intersection of Dripping Springs Road and Sonoma Ranch Blvd, where Part 3 comes to an end.
