Karachi to Islamabad by Road | Day 10 | Final Episode | Complete Road Trip Pakistan 🇵🇰 This is the final episode (Day 10) of my epic Karachi road trip series! In this video, I travel from Karachi to Islamabad by road in my car, covering the last stretch of a journey that totaled 3,776 kilometers from start to finish. I began my journey at 11:15 AM from Karachi and reached Rawalpindi at 9:00 AM the next day, completing this long drive in approximately 21 hours and 45 minutes. My first stop was the iconic Bombay Bakery in Hyderabad, one of Pakistan’s oldest and most famous bakeries, established in 1911. It is renowned for its legendary coffee cake, pastries, and biscuits, making it a must-visit spot for travelers passing through Hyderabad. I exited Karachi via the Lyari Expressway, a major urban route built along the Lyari River to ease traffic congestion in the city. It provides a faster way to bypass inner-city traffic and connect to highways leading out of Karachi. From there, I joined the M9 Motorway (Karachi–Hyderabad Motorway), a modern and well-maintained road that ensures a smooth and high-speed journey between the two cities. On the way, I passed the intersection leading to Keenjhar Lake (Kalri Lake), one of Pakistan’s largest freshwater lakes and a popular tourist destination. It is also an important source of drinking water for Karachi and a beautiful spot for boating and picnics. After Hyderabad, I continued my journey towards Sehwan Sharif via the Indus Highway (N-55). Along the way, I saw the Jamshoro Thermal Power Plant, one of Pakistan’s oldest power generation facilities, playing a significant role in supplying electricity to the region. I then visited the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif. His real name was Syed Usman Marwandi, and he was born in 1177 in Marwand (present-day Afghanistan). He lived for around 97 years and passed away in 1274 in Sehwan Sharif. He was a great Sufi saint, poet, and spiritual reformer, known for spreading the message of love, tolerance, unity, and devotion to Allah. He traveled extensively across regions including Iran, Iraq, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, preaching Sufism and guiding people towards spirituality and peace. The title “Lal Shahbaz Qalandar” reflects his personality: Lal (Red) – symbolizing his spiritual state and attire Shahbaz – meaning a royal falcon (symbol of spiritual height) Qalandar – a free-spirited Sufi devoted to God His shrine in Sehwan Sharif is one of the most important spiritual centers in South Asia, attracting thousands of devotees daily. The famous dhamaal (spiritual dance) performed at his shrine represents devotion and spiritual ecstasy. Continuing my journey, I traveled through Dadu, Larkana, and Sukkur, before finally joining the motorway network again and heading towards Islamabad.
