10 Tractors Only Idiots Carry In 2026

The worst tractor isn't the cheap one. It's the one nobody stands behind - no factory, no dealer, no law, sometimes not even its own brakes. Ten tractors I wouldn't let you carry home in 2026, counted down from the one that just wastes your money to the one that can put you in the hospital. Worst one last. Most of these aren't junk iron. What makes all ten a fool's buy is the same thing every time: nobody stands behind it. One thing to do this weekend, and it costs nothing. If you've got a 1023E, a 1025R or a 2025R, or you're about to buy one, take the serial number off the plate and run it through Deere's recall lookup, or call any Deere dealer and ask. Write it down. — Hank.
