Baldur's Gate 3 — Hope You Read the Fine Print! (Tactician / No Mods) | Xbox Series X [#41]

Never give the Devil his due… Kith'rak Voss, an ancient Githyanki knight once loyal to his queen, Vlaakith, now seeks her downfall and the restoration of Orpheus, Prince of the Comet and son of Gith, the one who contended with the malicious will of the Illithid "Mind Flayers" and brought freedom to their people; for this, he was willing to sacrifice his very soul… leading him to the clutches of the Devil, Raphael, who held the means of freeing Orpheus from his infernal chains deep within the Astral Plane. Fortunately for Voss, the Dark Elf, Variolus, and her companions, crossed their paths and bargained with Raphael in his stead — Raphael gives up the "Orphic Hammer," and in turn they present him with the legendary "Crown of Karsus," a device used by the legendary Arcanist of Netheril to usurp Mystral, Toril's original "Goddess of Magic," and lay claim to the arcane "Weave" that permeates the world… resulting in Karsus' own destruction and that of his beloved Netheril and its floating cities. However it doesn't take a theologian to understand that if Raphael were to wield the "Crown of Karsus" that his power would not only consume all of the Nine Hells but threaten the foundations of all Inner, Outer, and Material Planes; thus, Variolus must seek the aid of an infamous Diabolist to break into Raphael's vaunted "House of Hope" and destroy the infernal contract she has signed… and pray to Lolth that the master of the house isn't at home! #DungeonsAndDragons #DungeonsAndDragons5e #DnD #DnD5e #5thEdition #BaldursGate #XboxSeriesX
