High Speed Amtrak Northeast Corridor & MBTA Trains at Mansfield

After 20 minutes I arrived, I checked the tracker and noticed an Amtrak train that I was expecting to see on my list I trains I had planned. Amtrak Northeast Regional 150 flew by with ACS-64 number 623 leading towards Boston. Not long after MBTA Outbound 5831 came into the station with HSP46 number 2037 leading towards Providence. I found a fence on one of the walkways that had a great view of the tracks at the station so as I set up there knowing Amtrak 2290 was coming through, I got there just in time as it rocketed through with the train being an OG legacy set as the OG Acelas are getting retired. Power Car number 2022 was leading towards Boston. 30 minutes later, the train of the day arrived. Amtrak 2265 came roaring through at track speed at 160 miles per hour with the Avelia Liberty power car number 2116 leading. I waited a bit until the next train so before it showed up, I switched sides to the outbound platform. There, I saw MBTA Inbound 5838 with CTC-5 number 1865 leading. Just 20 minutes later, Amtrak Northeast Regional 149 absolutely hauled past me at 125 miles per hour with ACS-64 number 655 leading. Following Amtrak 149 was MBTA Outbound 5839. Leading was HSP46 number 2021. I knew a northbound Amtrak train would be traveling through soon, so I expected it to pass while the outbound was stopped. The last train of the day, Amtrak Northeast Regional 160, appeared around the outbound train with ACS-64 number 626 leading. Overall I had an awesome day out on the rails!
