THE EBU MBE FESTIVAL CELEBRATION AMONG THE THE AFIKPO-IGBO

The Ebu Mbe is a festival among the people of Afikpo, Ebonyi State, that uses song, dance and staged drama to sanitize the ills in the society. Both men and women participate in the festival celebration. Whereas the men sing and dramatize the evils committed by women, the women on their own release their venom on the men especially men who do not take care of their family.
