Session 1: EVP | Ghost Hunting ASMR (Paranormal Investigation Roleplay)

I might [not] live to regret this, but for the remainder of the spooky season I’ve got a three-part ghost hunting ASMR roleplay for you. Series like these typically don’t do very well… especially if people don’t like the first one! 😅 But, hopefully you’ll get a kick out of it, I dunno. Seven years ago (Jesus...) I made a similar video about investigating a haunted house, and I guess this is sort of an updated version of that, but with two characters and, I think it’s fair to say, improved production value. I may have mentioned at the time that I find something incredibly relaxing about paranormal investigation videos… Maybe it’s the ambient noise, the pregnant pauses between unexplained sounds, or just the fact that they tend to be quite quiet, but more often than not they end up making me nod off. Also, it may be something to do with the fact that anything particularly crazy or surprising happening is, well… unlikely. And the creators tend to goof around a bit to lighten the mood. So there’s a weird comfort in them, or something, I dunno? If you’re interested, I particularly enjoy ‪@AmysCrypt‬ as well as ‪@NickandRyan‬, so please check out those channels if you get the chance. But otherwise, I’ve tried to recreate some of those elements that I enjoy and make them more “ASMR”. None of the videos in the series are particularly scary, and though there’s a warning of violence at the start of each one, there isn’t very much at all. Spoiler, there’s none in the first two. However, there IS plenty of swearing, so please be advised about that. Anyway, whatever – this is the first one. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit. 📽 What is FPC? 🎞 FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times. Disclaimer: This video is intended for relaxation. Any views, opinions, or advice expressed is purely for the purpose of entertainment, and to induce tingles through ASMR. These videos are not a substitute for traditional medicine, therapy, or any other professional medium, and should not be treated as such! Take all the advice with a pinch of salt, and certainly don’t take it to heart. That being said, please enjoy them, benefit from them, and hopefully get those warm, tingly feelings.
