I Bought This Casio for $2… Then Discovered the Real Problem

I picked up this Casio MTP-1197 for just $2 at a local sale — it looked rough but had potential. In this video, I restore the case, replace the crystal, and try to bring the watch back to life. But after installing a fresh battery, I discovered the movement was completely dead… No worries though — these use affordable Miyota movements, so I swapped it out and gave the watch a full second chance. Now it looks (and works) like brand new. This was one of my most satisfying restorations yet.
