Southern Pacific 4449 is one of America's beloved steam locomotives, having a lively excursion career since its return to steam in 1975. One of its recognizable liveries outside the Daylight is the "American Freedom Train" livery it wore during America's Bicentennial. However, it was repainted back into the livery well after the Freedom Train following one of the worst tragedies in the 21st century.
