BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's Arpley Junction (Warrington) on 13th July 1992 Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Arpley Junction on 13/07/1992. An early morning start for this one. Filmed from a supermarket car park with their permission a good vantage point of the junction signalbox and stabling sidings. Trains would arrive and pass by later to return to either head for Arpley Yard or to take the route to Fiddlers Ferry. A pair of class 20s are captured in this scene along with 47s, and 60s. Note 47500 stabled in the siding. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
