Tea under the oak 🍂 soft piano for a slow, golden autumn morning | Willowrest

"Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;" — John Keats, "To Autumn" about this video This one is an early autumn morning in the English countryside, just after the sun has come up. There's an old oak at the top of a hill, and someone has built a small wooden deck around its roots. From there you look down over a sheep pasture, with grey stone walls curving along the slope and a soft golden mist still sitting in the valley. Against the trunk there's a little nest of knitted cushions, and a wool blanket hangs over the railing. On a wooden tray: a teapot, one cup of tea, two scones with strawberry jam, and a book left open. A few oak leaves have already come down onto the boards. Nobody's there yet. I wanted it to feel like walking up the hill and finding that corner already set up for you. You can sit down against the oak, pour the tea, and watch the sheep and the mist for as long as the morning lasts. The piano is soft and slow, a little brighter than usual, with lots of room between the notes. No vocals, no drums, no sudden changes. It's meant to stay in the background while you read, study, work, or just take a slow morning for yourself. There's a cushion saved for you under the oak. 🌿 good for: · slow autumn mornings · reading & journaling · studying and deep focus · working from home · a quiet cup of tea 🎹 tracklist: 0:00 Tea Under the Oak 3:08 Sheep on the Hillside 5:26 Scones and Strawberry Jam 8:09 Golden Leaves Overhead 10:32 The Old Oak Deck 12:49 Golden Morning on the Hill 15:58 A Cushion by the Trunk 18:31 Light Through the Branches 21:01 Stone Walls and Green Fields 23:04 A Morning to Yourself 26:02 The Valley Below 28:16 One More Cup about the music Every track here is original and made for this channel.
