Remembering ESPN's 24Hr College Basketball Tip-off Marathon

Back in the year 2008, ESPN tried a wild new idea to start the season. Why not have a day full of basketball? Literally, every hour of the day whether it was 4am or 11pm, they had a game broadcasted on their network. ESPN has since given up on this idea for the start of the season, but I wanted to go through the history of this event, how it all changed, and how it led to this years new marathon Timestamps: 0:00 - Intro 0:34 - First Year 2008 2:36 - 2009-2011 5:30 - Change Is Coming 2012 7:12 - 2013-2015 9:41 - Last Marathon 2016 11:03 - This Year 2026 More NCAA Basketball Vids:    • NCAA Basketball   #ncaabasketball #collegebasketball #marchmadness #ncaatournament #ncaabasketballpicks #collegebasketballhighlights #collegebasketballbets #espn #ncaa #espncollegebasketball #dukebasketball #kansasbasketball #kentuckybasketball #uncbasketball #michiganstatebasketball
