In this webinar, Geoff Woods (author of The AI-Driven Leader) argues the real risk to your business isn't competition — it's how you're thinking. His core message: stop asking AI questions, and start having AI ask you questions. He introduces his CRIT framework: Context – give AI the full situation (it knows the world, not your business) Role – tell it who to be (an investment banker, HR expert, etc.) Interview – have it ask you one question at a time (up to 3–5) to pull out context you didn't know you had Task – then it delivers the actual output Key stories covered: A manufacturing CEO facing bankruptcy used CRIT with AI acting as an investment banker — it asked one non-obvious question that led to a strategy ("Saving Face Consortium") that saved the company. A CEO with a hostile board used AI to build personality profiles of directors, essentially creating an "AI board" to simulate meetings in advance — described as literally saving people's jobs. Herbalife used a "thought partner" AI tool to align 25, then 400, then 4,000 employees around strategy in 20 minutes instead of 6 months. A live demo with an attendee ("Mark") on scaling AI adoption at a 10,000+ person company, showing the CRIT process in real time, including a "challenger" step where AI pressure-tests its own output. Other tactical tips mentioned: Use speech-to-text (he uses Whisper Flow) instead of typing prompts — gives AI far more context Never trust the first AI output — give it feedback: what you like, don't like, and top changes Shift+Enter to add line breaks without submitting the prompt Homework: two sticky notes — "How can AI help me do this?" and "Context, Role, Interview, Task"
