Ep. 30 - Making My First Bargello Square | A 100-Square Journey

Hello Friends, how are you? This week I started something that has been floating around in my mind for a while. Making bargello quilt square tapestries! I loved making the few I did several years ago, and now I want to make more. A lot more. 100 to be exact! A big project like this scares me because it means I am building something that doesn't necessarily have a large end goal. For practice, yes! For playing with colours, yes! But I don't entirely know if others will find this tapestry collection as interesting as I do - and that is often why I craft, for others! Even admitting this large goal was scary because I can no longer avoid and ignore it. :) Now the first block is here and I am so pleased with how it turned out and how much joy I found in the process of making it ... minus that one yarn ball! I am getting excited by all the colour palette possibilities and am seeing them everywhere. Especially (foreshadowing) on book covers. :) I hope you enjoyed watching me dive down this rabbit hole. I'm really excited to see how this project grows.
