Have you ever discovered a restaurant completely by chance and ended up being genuinely surprised by how good it was? That’s exactly what happened with me at Karmanwala Restaurant in Daroghewala, Lahore. I came across this restaurant randomly while passing by the area. Since it was my first time seeing it, I honestly had no idea what to expect. I was a little doubtful about whether the food and overall experience would actually be good or not. But after trying the food, I was genuinely surprised. The food was outstanding. Every dish I tried was full of flavour, the quality was impressive, and the quantity was also quite satisfying. What surprised me even more was the complete restaurant experience. The entrance itself is quite impressive, located right next to the main stop. As you walk inside, you’ll find the kitchen on one side, beautiful paintings and decorative elements on the other, along with displays of desserts and mutton. The restaurant also has multiple dining halls across different floors, including air-conditioned seating. But what really made me think was this: Why had I never heard about this restaurant before? I’ve visited many well-known and popular restaurants in Lahore, but despite being so impressive, Karmanwala Restaurant was completely new to me. I had hardly seen its name or any significant content about it before my visit. That is why, based on my personal experience, I consider Karmanwala Restaurant one of Lahore’s most underrated restaurants.
