Battle to stay Ahead - E Megavalanche 2025

Front row position in the 2025 E-bike Megavalanche finals on Pic Blanc above Alpe d'Huez. Bad start, good snow and a fight to the bottom. The glacier was in reasonable condition this year and although feeling a bit cautious after my big crash at the Mountain of Hell in Les 2 Alpes a couple of weeks before I was pleased to carry good speed down the hill and escape the carnage. It's a nice opportunity to compete in two events in the same weekend but E-Bike racing is always a bit contentious... Are the bikes equal? Is it fair? Is it even a real sport? You tell me...
