From Dalmorton to Casino…Then Everything Changed | Day 2 Part 2

Deepwater to Casino | Part 2 of Day 2 The adventure continues! After crossing the bridge at the old Dalmorton township camping area on the Boyd River, the four of us continue our way north towards Copmanhurst for lunch before setting our sights on Casino — the final destination for Day 2. The roads, scenery and riding are everything we came for, and for a while it looks like we’ll finish the day exactly as planned. Unfortunately, things don’t quite work out that way. Paul has a very unlucky encounter with a cow, bringing his ride to an abrupt end. With around 50km still to go to Casino, the rest of us have to improvise and get him and the bike safely into town. It’s another one of those moments that reminds you that adventure riding isn’t always about the destination — sometimes it’s about dealing with whatever the road throws at you. Four mates.
