Whale of Trail 2026 | Trail Running at De Hoop Nature Reserve, South Africa

On 15 August 2026, runners took on Whale of Trail, 35km and 53km through De Hoop Nature Reserve on the Western Cape coast. This is what that day looked like, sand, fynbos, boardwalk and every stretch of terrain in between, whales offshore for most of the route, clear weather, and the vasbyt it took to get through the harder sections.
