What happens when you’re a caregiver, a wife, a mother—and still trying to become the person you were called to be?
In Part 2 of this real and raw conversation, I sit down with my dear friend Kristen Hunter to continue a caregiving journey that is anything but ordinary.
Kristen has cared for multiple loved ones throughout her life—including her younger brother, her father, her mother, and for a period of time, her husband. Along the way, she was also navigating the responsibilities of being a wife and mother while pursuing her own professional dreams.
And somehow, through all of it, Kristen continued moving forward.
She became a nurse and ultimately a nurse practitioner.
But this conversation isn't just about the degrees, titles, or accomplishments.
It's about the woman behind them.
In Part 2, we dig deeper into what caregiving can demand from you emotionally, personally, and relationally—and what it means to continue pursuing your purpose when life keeps asking you to pour into everyone else.
This is an honest conversation about caregiving, family, marriage, motherhood, purpose, resilience, loss, growth, and becoming.
💛 If you've ever wondered who takes care of the caregiver, this conversation is for you.
And if you haven't watched Part 1, be sure to go back and hear the beginning of Kristen's incredible journey.
One woman. Multiple caregiving journeys. One powerful purpose.
Thank you, Kristen, for allowing me to share your story and for being vulnerable enough to have this conversation with me. This truly remains one of my favorite Caregiver's Compass interviews.
