EP-3 |BEYOND THE BLACK BOARD |RIYA SHINDE- HEADGIRL 2022-23

🎙️ *BEYOND THE BLACKBOARD — EPISODE 3* What happens when a Bishop’s student steps beyond the school gates and begins writing her own story?** In Episode 3 of Beyond the Blackboard, Myra Bell sits down with Riya Shinde, a proud alumna of The Bishop’s Co-Ed School, Kalyaninagar, for a candid conversation about her journey from being a Bishop’s student to discovering new experiences, opportunities and challenges beyond the classroom. The conversation takes us back to Riya’s school years and explores how her experiences at Bishop’s helped shape her confidence, leadership, communication skills and approach towards life. From memories of school and the responsibilities that came with being a student leader, to stepping into the world beyond school, Riya reflects on the experiences that stayed with her long after graduation. The episode also explores the importance of extracurricular activities, debating, leadership, friendships, discipline and making the most of opportunities. Riya shares perspectives on transitioning from school to college, adapting to a new environment, discovering interests outside academics and learning from experiences along the way. As a former Head Girl and an active participant in debating and other school activities, Riya's journey offers a glimpse into how school experiences can continue to influence a student's personal growth even after leaving the classroom. At its heart, Beyond the Blackboard is about the stories that don't always appear in textbooks — the experiences, people, lessons and memories that shape students long after the final school bell rings. 🎙️ Interviewer: Myra Bell 🎤 Interviewee: Riya Shinde — Bishops Alumna 🎬 CREDITS *Concept:* The Bishop’s Media Club *Script Writing:* Isheekka Lalwani & Sarthak Makhamale *Editing & Production:* Isheekka Lalwani & The Bishop’s Media Club *Social Media & Promotion:* Sarthak Makhamale A Bishop’s Media Club Production ✨ Beyond the Blackboard — because some of the most important lessons begin after you leave the classroom. #BeyondTheBlackboard #BishopsMediaClub #BishopsAlumni #StudentVoices #AlumniStories #BeyondTheClassroom #Bishops #StudentMedia
