MESTIA TO ZUGDIDI | Leaving the Mountains for City Life! | Day 5 | Tamil Vlog

Day 5 of our Georgia trip Today we left the beautiful mountain life around Tvebishi, Mestia and Ushguli and started heading towards Zugdidi, a big change from mountain life to city life! We started our journey around 9:50 AM from our Airbnb and decided to visit Enguri Dam on the way to Zugdidi. Before leaving, we planned to buy some bread for breakfast because we still had Almarai cheese and jam that we had brought from Dubai. On the way, we stopped and bought khachapuri, but unfortunately we didn't really like the cheese taste. So we added our Almarai cheese spread from Dubai and suddenly it tasted much better! The drive was beautiful, passing through small Georgian villages and mountain roads. After a while, the road became much better and we continued towards Enguri Dam. We reached Enguri Dam and saw that there was quite a lot of crowd and some work happening around the area, so we only filmed the dam from a little distance before continuing towards Zugdidi. As we got closer to Zugdidi, the scenery started changing from mountains and villages to more city life. Around 2:15 PM, we reached Zugdidi and went to Zugdidi Mall. The mall was actually quite small, but we explored it for a while and then went inside Carrefour to buy groceries. We decided to cook our own dinner at the Airbnb instead of eating outside. After shopping, we headed towards McDonald's. Parking was surprisingly difficult, so we parked the car and walked around 300 metres to reach the restaurant! We ordered a McChicken meal and a beef burger meal for ₾37.50. After that, we went to our Airbnb in Zugdidi, showed the room and settled in. Later, we cooked our own dinner: 🍚 Ghee Rice 🍗 Chicken Curry 🥣 Dal 🥤 Coca-Cola Zero The rice we bought was probably a jasmine style rice and turned out a little sticky, but the homemade dinner was still really good and felt like a nice change after several days of travelling around the mountains. And that's the end of Day 5! Today was all about leaving the mountains behind, travelling through beautiful Georgian villages, visiting Enguri Dam, reaching Zugdidi and finally having a relaxed evening with our own homemade dinner.
