Featuring occasional text commentary on my mistakes. I think you can already tell why I delayed this so much despite getting the clear back in May. I'm probably not coming back to this shmup for awhile, if ever. This is mainly just for reference because it was done right before I started God Mode. I’m not doing Ultra because I hate Aki’s fight, it probably has the worst mechanics of any TLB imo. A nearly impossible final pattern combined with the fact that he has a long bomb shield and that bomb shield sprays out bullets when you shoot it is what makes him complete bullshit and unfun. Can’t dodge that pattern? Well you’re basically required to perfect and do a cheese strat that takes 2 lives at the bare minimum. I’d rather fight Pandemonium Vier, in fact, I WANT to fight her, so much so that the mere thought of approaching her patterns is distracting me from God Mode. Nonetheless, I have too many broken clear promises as it is, so I’ll still be doing God Mode, but I’ll mainly be practicing score routes for awhile for consistency. Once I get a score on each stage I’m happy with, I’ll post it. Don’t expect world record scores or anything, but I’ll be aiming for a 3 billion minimum NMNB.
