We're NOT Fighting Moder Unprepared! | Valheim 1.0

Today we're preparing for one of our biggest battles in Valheim 1.0 so far — MODER. We've located her altar high in the Mountains, but there's absolutely no chance I'm summoning this enormous Frost Drake without preparing both ourselves AND the battlefield first. Our first job is establishing FOB Moder, a simple staging base equipped with everything we need to get back into the fight quickly, including a portal connecting us with home. From there, we're turning the surrounding mountain into a battlefield designed to give us every possible advantage. That means TERRAFORMING. We're raising sections of terrain around Moder's altar to create huge defensive barriers that her attacks can't simply destroy. If everything goes according to plan, these should give us places to retreat, recover and reposition when this giant winged monster starts raining destruction down upon us. The battlefield isn't the only thing getting an upgrade either. Our Viking is finally stepping properly into the Silver Age, trading out our older equipment for Wolf Armour and the Drake Helmet. With our new silver equipment equipped, our defences prepared and FOB Moder established, we're getting dangerously close to summoning the Queen of the Mountains.
