In this video, we explored the Tourist places of Chandigarh. Chandigarh was developed in fifties and since it is capital of Haryana and Punjab you will see the mix of these states in this city. Sukhna Lake - We started our day in Chandigarh from the Sukhna Lake. A beautiful place for peaceful walking, jogging, watching migratory birds, sun-soaking, and beautiful views, in addition, enjoy boating, and rowing in one place. Open Hand Monument - We visited the “Open Hand Monument”. It is a symbolic structure designed by the architect Le Corbusier. It is the symbol of the Government of Chandigarh and symbolises "the hand to give and the hand to take, peace and prosperity Rose Garden - Then we visited the “Rose Garden” Chandigarh. It is Asia’s largest Rose Garden spread over 30 acers & has 50000 plants representing more than 800 Varieties of Roses. Rock Garden - The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a sculpture garden. It is also known as Nek Chand Saini's Rock Garden. Nek Chand Saini Ji started building this garden secretly in his spare time. This Garden is completely built from industrial, home waste, and discarded items. Overall we enjoyed this “Rock garden”. Rock Garden Tickets - Rs 30 Per Person Chandigarh Sec 17 Market - After this, we reached at the Heart of the city - Sec 17 Market, Chandigarh. It is a beautiful market with several big brand stores, international outlets. Phulkari Shop - After this, we visited the “Phulkari Shop” in the market & checked some options here. Indian Air Force Heritage Center - Then we visited the “Indian Air Force Heritage Center”. We were not able to shoot there because videography was not allowed. Here we learn about the History of the Indian Air Force.
