They made the effort to smile and check in on passengers throughout the flight, which really added to the experience. The only reason it’s not a full score is because there were moments where service felt slightly delayed, but overall they represented Malaysia Airlines really well. Cabin – 10/10 The cabin was absolutely beautiful. From the lighting to the seat colours, everything felt fresh, modern, and very premium. You can immediately tell this is a brand-new aircraft, and it really enhances the atmosphere onboard. Seat – 10/10 The seat itself was incredibly well-designed. The cushioning was comfortable, the recline was generous, and the adjustable headrest worked perfectly for support. For an economy seat, it honestly felt above and beyond what you’d normally expect. Legroom – 10/10 Legroom was outstanding. Even at my height, I could stretch comfortably without feeling cramped at all. For long-haul flights, this makes a massive difference, and Malaysia Airlines really nailed it here. IFE – 9/10 The in-flight entertainment system is one of the best I’ve seen in economy. The 13.3-inch screen is sharp, very responsive, and packed with movies, TV shows, and games. There are a couple of small things that could be improved, like missing full TV series or random seasons, but overall it’s an excellent system. Service – 7/10 The service was fine, but compared to everything else it didn’t quite match the same high standard. Response times for small requests took longer than expected, and at times the crew seemed stretched. It wasn’t bad, but it leaves some room for improvement. Meal – 10/10 The meal was fantastic. Portion sizes were generous, the food was hot, and the flavours were rich and satisfying. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had on a flight in this class — definitely a highlight of the journey. Cleanliness – 9/10 The cabin and lavatories were very clean, which is always reassuring. There were only a couple of small spots that showed minor wear or needed tidying, but nothing that took away from the overall impression of a spotless aircraft. Website – 7/10 The website gets the job done, but it doesn’t feel as modern as the rest of the airline’s product. It can be clunky to navigate and isn’t always the smoothest booking experience. Once updated, it would really match the quality of the onboard product. Value for Money – 10/10 Considering the comfort, entertainment, food, and overall experience, the value is outstanding. For the price I paid, this flight far exceeded my expectations.
