SunSquabi has emerged as a leading force in live electronic fusion, seamlessly combining the soulful energy of jam bands with the cutting-edge pulse of electronica. Based in Colorado, the trio—Kevin Donohue (guitar/production), Josh Fairman (bass/synth), and Scotty Zwang (drums)—crafts expansive, groove-laden soundscapes that push the boundaries of live music. Their dynamic blend of heavy basslines, funky guitar riffs, and shimmering synths creates an immersive experience for fans of both jam and electronic music. Having rocked stages at iconic venues like Red Rocks and major festivals such as Electric Forest and Bonnaroo, SunSquabi has earned a reputation for electrifying live performances. Known for their balance of tight improvisation and carefully curated beats, each show offers fans a fresh musical journey through cosmic grooves and interstellar funk. In the studio, SunSquabi is continually evolving, merging elements of hip-hop, funk, and electronica while maintaining a foundation in live instrumentation.
