Ep 125: Zach Davis Nominates The Power Station’s “The Power Station” (Part 2)

If there’s anything we know about our listeners, it’s that they like it HOT. As such, this week’s guest and album are sure to please. Zach Davis and Michael have known each other since their Drew University days so astute listeners will know he is a banner member of the Mike Crew. His pick for the tribunal is The Power Station - a supergroup made up of members of Duran Duran, Chic, and that old rascal Robert Palmer. It’s one of those bands you don’t know you know but you absolutely know. Trust us! Zach’s case for their enormous album’s perfection hits all the notes we listen for - a deep well of emotional memory, a staying power lasting decades, and some truly tight tight tight drums. Zach is one sweet fella and we feel very lucky to have had him on this week. But will his case bang the proverbial gong? Come get it on with us and find out, dear listeners.
