How to Maximize Your Arena Direct Runs | A Midweek Retrospective

Arena Direct is a great way to win boxes, but it’s also one of the best opportunities we have to really learn a Sealed format. In this video, I break down how I’ve been approaching Reality Fracture Sealed during the week-long Arena Direct. We’ll look at how I experiment with different builds early in the format, what I’m paying attention to while playing, and how I use those results to adjust the next pool I build. Then, once the 17Lands data starts coming in, we’ll compare my initial evaluations to what the numbers are actually telling us. Which bombs are really worth building around? Which rares are we overvaluing? Which cards are worth splashing? And what can the commons and uncommons tell us about what’s actually winning? Finally, we’ll go back through some of my winning and underperforming Arena Direct decks to see what worked, what didn’t, and what we can actually learn from the results. The goal isn’t just to play more Sealed. It’s to get better at learning a format while you’re playing it, and hopefully maximize your Arena Direct runs along the way. Let me know in the comments what you’ve learned about Reality Fracture Sealed so far, and what’s been working for you!
