The Book of Enoch Says a Chosen Angel Holds the Keys of the Abyss: And Names What He Locks First

In the twentieth chapter of the Book of Enoch, seven angels are named, and each one is handed a single duty. One of them is given the pit. Not the sky, not the seasons, not the souls of the dead, but the abyss itself, and the keys that open and close it. What the text records next is easy to miss, because it names the first thing sealed behind that door before any human being is ever brought to judgment.
