Friend, come sit down.
This episode is for the woman who woke up already feeling behind. The one who snapped at her husband over spilled coffee and immediately drowned in guilt. The one who has turned God's grace — this boundless, unearned, extravagant gift — into another checklist she can never quite finish.
Today we're talking about the exhausting trap of perfectionism, performance faith, and what it truly looks like to come home to a God who is not holding a clipboard.
We slow down inside two of Jesus' most beloved stories — Martha's frantic kitchen in Luke 10, and the Prodigal Son's long walk home in Luke 15 — and we let them do what stories do best: not just inform the mind, but open the heart.
Because here's what I believe with everything in me:
God is not holding a clipboard. He is holding you.

Leave a comment below — I read every single one. Tell me which part landed for you, or share what you've been carrying lately. You don't have to carry it alone here.
And if you know a woman who is white-knuckling her way through the performance of a perfect life — send this to her. Sometimes the most grace-filled thing we can do for someone is say, "Hey. You don't have to hold it all together. Come sit down."

🙏 A NOTE FROM YOUR HOST
I'm a 35-year-old woman navigating faith, marriage, and the beautiful mess of real life — just like you. Grace in the Margins exists because I believe the most honest, healing conversations happen not on a stage or in a perfectly curated feed, but in the quiet margins of ordinary life. Pull up a chair. You belong here.
