Your Love is Better Than Life | Let's worship!

“Your Love Is Better Than Life” is inspired by Psalm 63:1–8, a deeply personal prayer of David. David begins with longing: “O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You.” He is in a dry and weary place, but what he longs for most is not relief from his circumstances. He longs for God Himself. That is what makes Psalm 63 so powerful. David remembers seeing God’s power and glory. He remembers His faithfulness. And in the middle of need, he makes one of the most beautiful declarations in Scripture: “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.” Psalm 63:3 That statement changes everything. It means God’s love is greater than comfort. Greater than success. Greater than security. Greater than anything this life can give or take away. As the Psalm continues, David moves from thirst to worship, from longing to satisfaction, from fear to rest. He remembers God through the watches of the night. He takes refuge in the shadow of His wings. He clings to Him. And he trusts that God’s right hand will hold him fast. This song follows that same journey. From a dry and weary soul... to remembering God’s goodness... to praising Him... to being satisfied in Him... to resting in the truth that His love is better than life. Psalm 63 reminds us that God is not merely the answer to our needs. He is the treasure our souls were made to seek. “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You.” Psalm 63:3 Produced by Steven Butera. #StevenButera #YourLoveIsBetterThanLife #Psalm63 #ChristianMusic #WorshipMusic #ChristianSong #FaithBasedMusic #BetterThanLife #Psalm6318 #JesusMusic #ChristianArtist #HopeInGod #PraiseAndWorship #InspirationalMusic
