Iceland Volcano Updates | Influx rates increase!

The magma accumulation in the Svartsengi system on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland continues. Recent data suggests an eruption could happen in the next 1 or 2 days although it is much more likely we'll have to wait at least 2 more weeks. Earlier this year, sometime in May, some experts believed this event could be fading out based on data at the time. Now, a few months later, it looks like the Svartsengi system is in the same shape it was back in late December or early January.
