Why is that?" 40 years ago, Top Gun took off. 36 years later it was time for the sequel Maverick to not only take off as well, but to truly cement the two Top Gun films as the gold standard for aviation themed movies. I already celebrated the original movie's 40th anniversary, and while Top Gun Maverick will celebrate it's 5th anniversary next time, I figured to pay tribute to the man in the cockpit anyway. That, and also to make the most of the Ace Combat 7 footage I have left before Ace Combat 8 releases...
