HP M402dn Fuser Heater Replacement After 50.2 Error

Sometimes a 50.2 error can be just that an error, but if you power cycle and it persists, then it is most likely a fuser heater issue. In this video we will go over the replacement of the HP M402dn and M402dne fuser heater. After completing HP repair training, I realized there was a better way to do specific tasks. This video is such, and we will be replacing a fuser heater in less than 15 minutes instead of the recommended time of 40 minutes with some slight shortcuts specifically for this task. After completing the fuser replacement, run a cleaning page as your first task after powering up, then test again. Also, using OEM parts and toner is a must. I have tried Chinese knockoff parts as well as non-OEM toners. In the end, non-OEM toners have a VERY HIGH correlation to fuser failure. Likewise Chinese aftermarket parts have been seen to fail in under a year. If you rely on your printer, please use the right part for the job at hand.
