Patrick Decker vs. Dodean & Cioti (TTS Borsum X SV U. Velbert I | 3. Bundesliga Tischtennis 2022/23)

Little recap about last weekend: what an up and down! My old body still hurts but on the whole, it was a successful weekend for my team and me. We succeeded 6:4 against SC Buschhausen who are placed higher in the ranking and I've won both single matches in each case 3:1 against Junior National player Vincent Senkbeil (2186 TTR) and their Brazilian top scorer Carlos Ishida (2281 TTR) and climbed up on #28 in the German National Ranking with a TTR value of 2293! But as it is often, the next day can change everything. As a team we were an outsider again against SV Union Velbert I and two of my team mates couldn't play due to an injury. So I started in my first match against former first league player Dodean in a really strange atmosphere and I didn't find any routine as well as I played without any good tactic. 😵‍💫 So I lost this match and crashed in the ranking instead of reaching my envisaged 2300 TTR. But hey, head up and maybe I'll see some of you next weekend against Oldenburger TB with top players Floritz and Nad Nemedi.
