Matara to Beliatta Full Train Journey in Sri Lanka Railways

Join with us on this scenic and fast train ride from Matara to Beliatta aboard the Weekend Beliatta Express! This footage was captured on Saturday, 20th of December 2025. Along the journey, the train passes Piladuwa and Weherahena and then stops at Kekanadura, Bambarenda, Wevurukannala and Nakulugamuwa (not shown). The train also crosses the current longest railway tunnel and the longest railway bridge in Sri Lanka. At Matara, we also cross the Beliatta - Maho Junction “Rajarata Rajina” express train.
