Loading Excel data into APSIM Next Gen - comparing predicted and observed data

This video describes how Excel data can be loaded into APSIM graphs and compared with simulated data in the model. The process of comparing data on annual versus daily time-steps is also described, including duplication of APSIM reports files. I discuss the importance of consistency in column titles and using variable and file names that match those in APSIM. This webinar may be useful for parameterisation or calibration studies in which model parameters are tuned so to match observed data (such as biomass, grain number or grain weight, yield, phenology etc).
