2026 Jetour Traveler 7 First Look - 780 HP Off-Roader The 2026 Jetour Traveler 7 is a rugged, boxy SUV unveiled at the Chengdu Motor Show, representing a major update to the Jetour Traveler/T2 lineup. Designed to combine bold off-road styling with modern technology and family-friendly practicality, it is expected to offer both five-seat and seven-seat configurations. Its robust proportions, elevated ground clearance, and intelligent all-wheel-drive system make it suitable for adventurous driving while retaining the comfort and versatility needed for everyday use. Under the hood, the Jetour Traveler 7 features a C-DM plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with three electric motors. The system delivers a reported combined output of 575 kW, equivalent to approximately 771–782 horsepower, and 835 Nm of torque, paired with Jetour's XWD intelligent all-wheel-drive system. The SUV offers an electric-only driving range of up to 245 km and a total combined range of approximately 1,400 km under the CLTC testing cycle. Measuring 4,827 mm long, 2,006 mm wide, and 1,875 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, it also provides 220 mm of ground clearance, a 27-degree approach angle, a 30-degree departure angle, and a water-wading depth of up to 700 mm. Inside, the 2026 Jetour Traveler 7 combines advanced connectivity with premium comfort and practical utility. Its TOUR OS 4.0 infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip with 16GB of RAM, complemented by a large 15.6-inch central touchscreen and a 23-speaker audio system. The SUV is also reported to feature Huawei ADS 5 advanced driving assistance technology and a 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) power supply for camping equipment and other external electrical devices.
