Children in Need 1985 - Pudsey's debut, Terry Wogan, Joanna Lumley, Doctor Who's car Bessie

Terry Wogan introduces Joanna Lumley in a remote from Blackpool. Les Dawson makes an appearance to leer at Joanna, insult Terry and crack some witty jokes. Joanna shows off Bessie (Jon Pertwee's famous car from Doctor Who) and introduces Pusdey, the teddy bear with an eyepatch who is the new symbol for "this year's" Children in Need. Joanna also mentions that the Doctor Who exhibition is giving the proceeds of this weekend's takings to Children in Need. Terry once again brings up the striptease and of course Joanna changes the subject.
