Career change at 50 doesn't have to mean quitting tomorrow.
Ten years ago I was managing director and co-owner of a brand consultancy. Today I'm a published author, I run my own courses, and I'm back behind the decks. I did it as a single parent of four — and it took ten years of small, unglamorous decisions, not one dramatic leap.
In this video I break down the three things that actually moved me: Mindset, Mission and Momentum. Not theory — the specific choices, made on a day by day basis over the past few years.
If you're in your forties or fifties and you know something needs to change, but there's a mortgage, there are kids, and there's no obvious next thing, this is the honest version of how it goes.
I cover;
The uncomfortable start; feeling restless and something's missing
Mindset; the tools and routines needed to find your grounded truth
Mission; unearthing your three sources of meaning
Momentum; overcoming fear and doubt to take your purpose into the world
Transition; the messy middle where the process becomes a way of life
The tool; details of The Midlife Rebuild KickStarter product I have launched to help you find out where you're currently blocked
