Avengers: Doomsday is releasing on December 18, 2026. Raven misspoke when saying the release date. It happens.
Hello, friends! Welcome to Page Turning Pictures. We are best friends who love movies and want to create movies you will love! If you like Cinema Therapy or You Must Remember This, you’ll like our content.
Today, we’re reviewing the movie of the summer: Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This has been a long-awaited film release since the bombshell dropped at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Raven and Nathan thought the only thing that could have made it better would have been seeing it together.
Nathan kicks off the discussion with a thrilling icebreaker question: If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Let us know in the comments!
Before any spoilers start, you can hear about the Irish Twins’ individual movie theater experiences and see whether you think it would be best to see this movie in 3D or Standard. 🎟️
If you’ve already seen the movie, join us for a discussion of the major plot moments that made the story special. Find out Nathan’s thoughts on the diversions from the comic book story-line that shares the name of this film and how Raven feels about the through-line of lore through the MCU as a whole!
After that, you can hear the duo’s thoughts on the BIG REVEAL of Sadie Sink’s character. Feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments, but add spoiler warnings!
Ned and MJ make an appearance in the discussion as well. Find out what Nathan would do to make Raven remember him if she forgot him! Hint: it may include a teaser to a college core memory 👀
Join us in a discussion of the movie’s overall structure and how Raven and Nathan felt about the messaging. Some things felt a little rushed and cramped, but overall, they were both impressed by the direction and story-building.
Finally, drop your thoughts for what’s coming up for Avengers: Doomsday. Two people who have been experiencing Marvel burnout are excited to see it, so that’s saying something!
Thanks for joining us today. We both loved this movie and are excited to see where it takes Spider-Man and the rest of the MCU. See you next time, and make sure to be considerate in the comments!
