Don't Buy A Sailboat Until You See This! | Pacific Seacraft 37 | $59,900 | TOUR
Is the Pacific Seacraft 37 the Goldilocks boat—not too big, not too small, but just right? And at $59,900 she could be the best deal around to go start your cruising. And, seriously, this boat model is in The American Sailboat Hall Of Fame.
Canadian Ken and I climb aboard this beautiful 1982 Pacific Seacraft 37, designed by the legendary Bill Crealock. The design was inducted into the Sailing Hall of Fame in 2004, and it’s easy to see why. With her cutter rig, protected rudder, serious offshore pedigree, beautiful traditional interior, and manageable 37-foot size, she checks an awful lot of boxes.
And this particular boat isn’t just pretty.
She’s been actively sailing the Maine coast and comes equipped with a 2019 Nanni 38 HP diesel, Monitor windvane, 300 watts of solar, radar, autopilot, windlass, Rocna anchor, 95 gallons of water, diesel heat, a serious sail inventory, and numerous upgrades. She appears ready for a new owner and a new adventure.
So—is 37 feet the sweet spot for a cruising sailboat? And is the Pacific Seacraft 37 one of the best examples of the breed?
Come aboard with Canadian Ken and me and decide for yourself.
