Cattle grazing in the Zambian bushveld 🇿🇲

Our smaller framed cow herd is at the banana farm grazing the bushveld. These get no hay or silage, just a simple winter lick consisting of Farmfeed Zambia Ltd dry season supplement+PEG with salt and sunflower cake. They walk quite far every day, to try and graze down nutritious areas. Hopefully we can keep the fires out of our pastures so we have a good roughage source all through the dry season. Hoping the cows are all pregnant and the bulls just a necessary precaution.
