Monday, August 24 — Put God First This Week | Morning Prayer for Wisdom, Peace & Success ☀️🙏 Some Mondays land on your chest before your feet ever touch the floor. The week is already loud. The tasks left over from Friday are waiting, the decisions are pressing, and the first thing your hand reaches for is a phone instead of a prayer. There is another way to open a week. Before the first message, before the first demand, before the first worry gets its turn — give this Monday and the four days behind it to the One who is already standing in every hour of them. 🙏 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." — Matthew 6:33 Everything in that promise rests on one small word. First. Not eventually. Not when the pressure lifts. When God is first, everything else finally finds its proper size. "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." — Psalm 143:8 "And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish thou the work of our hands upon us." — Psalm 90:17 There is an enormous difference between a week you push through and a week God establishes. Human effort fades.
