BUILDING OUR OFF-GRID HOME ON 10 ACRES #offgridliving #homesteadlife #arizonahomestead We bought 10 acres of raw desert land in Arizona and started preparing the property for our future off-grid home. In this video, we share the beginning of the journey as we clear the land, plan the driveway, choose where our home will sit, and start turning an empty piece of desert into the homestead we have been dreaming about. Our plan includes converting a large shed shell into a house, with a 20 x 48 layout and tall 16-foot walls. We also had miles of rough road graded so we could reach the property more easily. There is still a lot of work ahead, but this is where our rural off-grid living journey truly begins. • Buying 10 acres of Arizona desert land • Clearing raw land for our future home • Building a shed-to-house • Planning our off-grid homestead • Grading the driveway and access roads • Starting our rural living journey We are excited to share every stage as we build our home, improve the property, and create a new life on our land. Follow along as this empty desert slowly becomes our off-grid homestead.
