WMSTR 2026 Miniatureland

Welcome to MiniatureLand at WMSTR Rollag!!! Just like the big ones, only smaller! We took a walk through one of the coolest and most popular spots at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, MN - MiniatureLand! This place is incredible - hand-built, fully operational scale model steam tractors, separators, threshers, gas engines and sawmills. All the tiny details, and they actually RUN just like the full-size ones! You can even watch the miniature sawmill sawing walking sticks for visitors - that's a Rollag tradition the kids absolutely love. This display goes all the way back to the first reunion, started by master model builder Norman Nelson, one of WMSTR's founders. If you've never been to WMSTR - it's a 290-acre living museum held every Labor Day weekend, one of the largest steam shows in the country. And MiniatureLand is a must-see stop.
