Rutgers vs Miami Football 1994

In their 5th season under head coach Doug Graber, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights host the Miami Hurricanes before 39,719 fans in the brand new Rutgers Stadium. Two costly turnovers and 13 penalties were enough to spoil any chance at an upset. To compound the suffering, starting quarterback Ray Lucas went down with a shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter when sacked by Kenard Lang and Warren Sapp. Said coach Graber after the game: "I'm bitterly disappointed in the way our team played. And this was not the first time. There were too many foolish things that take you out of an opportunity to beat good teams."
