My Sept Vinyl Pick Ups - Jazz Selections, Audiophile pressings and More Record Fair finds

My September 2026 vinyl haul is here and this month there’s a big mix of original pressings, audiophile vinyl reissues, jazz, funk, indie and a few records I’ve been hunting down for the collection. I’m taking a faster trip through this month’s pickups, including records from Funkadelic, My Bloody Valentine, Weezer, Herbie Hancock, Ahmad Jamal, Tears For Fears, Sade, Nick Drake, Bloc Party, Roy Ayers, Freddie Hubbard and more. There are some fantastic original 1980s pressings in here alongside modern audiophile releases from Analogue Productions, Acoustic Sounds Series, Verve Vault, Vinyl Me, Please and ORG. One particular reissue of Funkadelic’s Maggot Brain might also be one of my favourite vinyl releases of 2026 so far… Let me know in the comments which record you’d pick from this haul and which releases you’d like to see get their own full review.
